How It All Started

While three friends were out playing Topgolf, conversation got turned to how cool it would be to start a literary podcast. It was 2020 and we had a lot of extra time on our hands, so what better way to spend our free time? Those three friends, Dinah, Jennifer and Evan, shared the idea with Benjamin and voila, our fellowship was born.

Meet Your Hosts

Dinah Copple

grew up surrounded by books and books were always a part of her childhood. A favorite childhood memory is when her mother would pack up her and her three younger brothers for weekly trips to the library. The book obsession only increased as she got older. Her favorite way to read is curled up with either a hot mug of coffee or tea in hand. She is self-proclaimed Anglophile and loves all things British. She loves traveling, and especially loves going to Israel. Her favorite types of books are classics, mysteries, and historical fiction. Her favorite book is Middlemarch.

Benjamin D. Copple

flirted with several careers before realizing that he wanted to write. After adding a “D.” to his name for sophistication, he embarked upon a literary journey which led him from the backwoods of the gothic south and the African continent to the turrets of medieval London and Minas Tirith. Now, with one novel under his belt and another on the way, he is excited to explore his favorite topic: stories. If you force him to choose his favorite non-religious text, nine times out of ten he’ll choose The Lord of the Rings.

can’t remember a time in her life when books weren’t part of it. So, it was pretty much inevitable that Jennifer would grow up to become a writer. When she isn’t writing or reading, curled up with a good cup of Earl Grey, she is pursuing her other passions: photography and travel. After having travelled to five continents, London is still her favorite city. It’s hard to narrow down what her favorite book is, but if she had to choose, it would have to be
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Also, she’d recommend anything by Kate Morton, her favorite author and greatest writing inspo, apart from C.S. Lewis.

Evan Zenobia

was born and raised in Wisconsin and although he currently resides in St. Louis, MO, he will never be a Cardinals fan (Go Brewers.) Evan is a graduate of Urshan College and Saint Louis Christian College holding a degree in Pastoral Counseling and Theology. He is an avid reader of all things Lewis and Tolkien, epicure, and a bit of a snob when it comes to his coffee.
